Step 1
Identifying Client Hiring Needs
We work closely with you to thoroughly understand and address your critical and urgent needs. Together, we are able to identify your ideal candidates’ skill set, personality, experience and accomplishments. We also confirm hiring time frames, selling points of the job and set clear expectations.
Step 2
Identifying Candidates
We use a variety of prospecting techniques to identify those “hard to find” candidates. We review our extensive database for possible candidates and utilize our networking skills and expert knowledge to identify top talent.
Step 3
Keeping Clients Informed
Our goal is to consistently communicate our progress to you as we identify and qualify potential candidates. Clients always know where they stand with Emerson Personnel Group because we respect and appreciate the urgency and sincerity of your need.
Step 4
Qualifying candidates
We conduct an in-depth screen process that provides us an opportunity to identify top candidates for your position. This process includes a face to face interview, skills testing, credential confirmation and reference checks when necessary. We uncover strengths, areas of development, compatibilities and accomplishments. We also test the candidates’ urgency and sincerity of their search.
Step 5
Preparing for Interviews
We recognize that productive interviews are critical to hiring top talent. We work with you prior to the interview to discuss the candidate’s background in more detail and cover any last minute questions that may arise about the candidate.
Step 6
Interview Details
We also handle all of the details of the interview from coordination, set-up and confirmation. We share agendas, titles and information about the opportunity and company so that the candidate is knowledgeable when she/he arrives.
Step 7
Debriefing after Interview
After each interview, we debrief with you to go over the qualities of the candidate. This is our opportunity to assess strengths and compatibilities of the candidate to determine if he/she has the ability to help make your company more successful.
Step 8
Debriefing the Candidate after Interview
After each interview, we debrief the candidates to determine level of interest and address questions and comments. We spend time talking with the candidate to uncover true enthusiasm and decide together what if any next steps make sense.
Step 9
Facilitating the Hiring Process
Our goal is to get your offer accepted by your first choice candidate. We work closely with you and the candidate to address any questions and to overcome any last minute concerns to ensure smooth offer acceptance.
Once a candidate has completed the interview process, we coach them on the process of accepting an offer. If there are still any questions or concerns, we address them before an offer is made so there are no surprises.
Step 10
Making it Happen
Congratulations! We have an offer that has been accepted and the candidate is anxious to start. However, we recognize that our job is not finished. We work closely with the candidate through the resignation process and address any possibility of a counter offer.
We take the time during the gap of offer to start to maintain contact with the candidate to address any fears that might arise. We continually connect with the candidate, even post-start, to ensure success.
Ongoing Support and Communication
Emerson Personnel Group does not stop servicing you once the candidate has accepted your offer. After the start date, we provide continuous follow-up to ensure that both you and your new employee are completely satisfied.
